LNL Trucking, Inc. is a family focused
business based in Bedford, IN. We are a
small business built on the idea that a
good work ethic, good attitude and a
general concern for our fellow man are
the right approach to business. We work
hard every day to meet and exceed our
customers, vendors and driver's
expectations. Our history, although short,
is one of doing things the correct way.
We take the time to do the job right every
time so that our customers can expect
nothing less with each job we are
presented.
Our drivers know that the equipment they
are assigned to operate are maintained at
the top of the industry standards. We take
no short-cuts concerning the safety of our
people or the safety of the general public.
Larry and Nancy started this business in
1995 and after several years of being
leased to other carriers, decided that they
wanted to own their own trucking
business. In February of 2004, LNL
Trucking, Inc was launched and the
venture began with one customer. Within
6 months LNL expanded to multiple
power units and several new customers,
always taking care to learn the customers
expectations and meeting their individual
needs.
Larry continued to drive and operate the
business until November 2007; at that
time he was able to fill the last power unit
with another driver and he now operates
the business from the office and not the
cab of a truck. He has taken the initiative
to meet with his customers face-to-face to
improve customer communication. One
important factor for him is to have LNL's
customers able to put a face with a voice,
so he makes this effort to meet each one.
Nancy has always been a strong
background player in the operation. She
has always worked in the medical field as
a Medical Technologist, and is very
familiar with good customer service and
care. During the formative years of LNL,
she was the back office clerk. She used
her time and talents away from her
normal line of work to do billing, sales,
compliance and whatever else she was
called on to do. Their two sons have also
played an important part in growing LNL
Trucking into the company that it has
become by devoting their weekends to
garage work and washing trucks.
